Lynley’s warmth, energy and leadership are so strong. She balances being up for anything with the perfect amount realism, and with that, she helped us make a vision we saw so clearly happen in a matter of months. We wanted to have a laid-back, elopement feeling with 35 of our closest friends and family & I realized just how much having someone to direct the day allows for that to be possible. Especially when it’s Lynley.
Even though we were on the smaller side, we would’ve never been able to do that without her. The value-add of hiring her will give you so much space for creating memories & focus on what the day is actually about. She had our backs with all problem solving & we felt nothing but confidence in her.
My husband says he knew on our first planning call that Lynley was coming in with a sense of direction and was going to be a powerhouse to make it all happen. We both reminisce about how she showed so much extra love and care during our reception, magically appearing with our favorite cocktails, and giving us a quiet moment to cut our wedding desert together. And so many more little touches like that.
She also SHINED in her tag team with our photographer. As a documentary filmmaker for work, visuals are so important to me and I am used to coordinating everything to make it happen. Lynley made everything so efficient, keeping my video producer hat OFF all day. I even got a few compliments throughout the day about being such a “chill” bride, but Lynley was my super-secret-weapon.
